• mike scott'ın grubu. bir kategoriye sokmakta zorlanırım müziklerini. grup 1981'de londra'da kuruldu. 80'li yıllara, en ünlüsü "fisherman's blues" olmak üzere, 4 albüm sığdıran grubun bence en iyi albümü 1993 yılında yaptıkları dream harder"dır. kapağı büyüttürülüp duvara asılmalıdır. "winter winter" isimli 33 saniyelik parça baştacıdır. mike scott arada solo albümler yapsa da 2000 yılında bir the waterboys albümü daha çıkarmayı ihmal etmemiştir. ismi "a rock in the weary land".
• "this is the sea" adlı film in muziklerini yapmıs olan grup.daha dogrusu film,ismini the waterboys un "this is the sea"albumunden almıstır.filmde kullanılan sarkılardan red army blues un calmaya basladıgı sahne sizi aglatabilir..sarkı dunyanın en huzunlu melodilerinden birine sahiptir.
